Homestuck Re-read Part 47: A6I3 PART 2.
I think this might be one of the shortest updates yet, only 40 pages today.
That works for me, I'm going to try and use some of the time to start porting the website to my new web server software. I haven't implemented a bunch of things yet but I'm just gonna hope for the best and then slowly fill features back in as I get them. I'm also gonna drop the weird auth/login system I have on this version but never use for anything and then probably try and come up with a way to improve my deployment process and way of syncing posts.

MORE. MEENAH. QUEST.
We can talk to Rufioh, Tavros' ancestor! He keeps saying doll which means he has Benny from Fallout: New Vegas' voice in my head. He seems to have had a reputation of being one of the braver trolls in their session, but doesn't think he actually was. In their session it seems Aradia's ancestor disabled him, instead of Aranea. He also had a robot body, but uh, the body of a centaur. Hussie also tried to kiss him, apparently?
Equius' ancestor, HORUSS, is also here. He's dressed in, a way I cannot quite describe because the exact words escape me. Sort of steampunk but, not quite. Sweatpunk. He seems to be going through, something I cannot explain either and is permanently smiling. It seems to have been Meulin's idea. He also seems to have some weird hemospectrum related ideas bordering on whatever the alternian version of raceplay would be called. hemoplay? We give him a weird horse-like creature and now we can be him, but lets go try and talk to Damara first.
We try talking to her but she says, nothing. She gives us the finger at one point but thats entirely it. We keep going a bit more and I think she's speaking to us in Japanese now. According to the wiki it is intentionally poorly translated Japanese using google translate and there's a page with all her dialog for us to translate back. Translating the first few parts and she seems to be coming onto us in a rather blackrom way. She also apparently gets off to the memory of killing us. We also can't currently be her, so lets go be Horuss.
We recover Rufioh's lusus from a chest and return it to him, in the hopes that he can be Damara. He can be and then we remove the glacier thing and move on from that section and thinking too hard about Damara. We move forward as Meenah and find that the dream bubble is intersecting with the actual meteor the trolls are on again. Kanaya and Porrim are talking to eachother! Good for them! It seems to have been positive but we don't get to hear what it was about. We can now be Kanaya and lead Meenah around the meteor.
Dave and Rose are inside. Dave is working on his raps. He resolves to talk more with Kanaya to squeeze blood from stones for her to drink. Rose is surprised Kanaya isn't glowing anymore and is happy to learn talking to Porrim went well. Porrim also provided council to Kanaya on continuing the Alternian race, despite the orb and their reluctance to embrace the roll. She also demonstrates to Rose that she can toggle the glowing on and off, Rose seems to very much like it.
I sorta got enthralled reading Dave's speech and forgot to write anything. It's nice seeing him and Rose be friends and be happy. It's nice seeing any of these characters happy, knowing what's going on. We can be Dave and Rose is making booze! Meenah seems to be a fan of Dave's rapping. She even beatboxes for him while he freestyles.
Moving north we find Meenah's quarry, Karkat. Kanaya won't let us wake him up though. To the west we find Aranea! Further west and we find Hussie behind a rock staring at Vriska, Tavros and John. We then proceed to pause and catch up with what's going on on the meteor.
METEOR!
Dave is still working on his raps. I don't really know enough to judge if they're any good, but he does want to get a Barack Obama rap solo in there. Rose is fucking drunk. And trying to explain the philosophy of an apple. Dave isn't interested in trying any of Rose's special brew since he doesn't want to go blind.
Rose then somehow verbalizes this

Rose seems to not be sure if she's going on a date with Kanaya tonight or not. Dave is pretty insistent it is since she's wearing a dress and getting drunk to cover up her nerves. Dave tries to get her to sleep it off and reschedule but Kanaya shows up. Kanaya feels underdressed and is concerned about Rose.
Rose was late for her date with Kanaya
KANAYA: I Was Waiting For You In The Common Area For A Couple Hours But You Did Not Show Up

ROSE: I FORGOD ABOUT OUR DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's incredibly adorable. They walk/shamble off to be alone when they hear a lone honk. Kanaya flips on the phosphorescent while they listen for a moment. There's another honk, and Rose swears Kanaya to secrecy. Terezi and Gamzee have a black thing going on together. Kanaya tells Rose about the ashen quadrant and it's implications on such a scenario. Rose wants Kanaya to teacher her about troll romance.
We get a rather tender and romantic confession of what Rose wants: Kanaya. Lesbians !!! Lesbians falling down the stairs!
MINISTRIFE
Vriska and Meenah are gonna fight it out while Hussie looks awkwardly from the background. John and Tavros show up shortly, John and Meenah remember eachother! John gets poked by Meenah and wakes up back on his land. Meenah calls Aranea in as backup. Then Aradia shows up. A bunch of other guys then start showing up, Aradia bots and Porrim and also Kankiri. Equius is also here and apparently sleeping with a large amount of Aradiabots. Even more people show up including Feferi and Meulin. Things continue to escalate and get out of hand until Vriska and Meenah jump eachother and then. Calliope is there? Or in a picture at least. This is one of her fanfics. Caliborn is defacing it.
The next one is her waking John up. but of course, she wasn't actually there. No one was but him and the magic ring.
